MARUTIRAO KOTE ABHINAV PUBLIC SCHOOL is an ambitious flagship educational project of Abhinav Shikshan Sanstha, established under the Bombay Public Trust Act. Conceived to meet the educational aspirations of Akole—a predominantly tribal and rural region—the school was inaugurated on 14th June, 1992.

Students also participate in ceremonial flag hoisting on Republic Day and Independence Day, energetic Dahi Handi human pyramids by hostelites, and 10-day Ganesh Utsav celebrations.
